Married Elders show off a very traditional method of cooking caribou and fish. The meat is placed between two pieces of land or moss over a flat rock and fire, then water is added to steam the meat. The perfect way to cook if you forget a pot!

We join Steven Kopak and his wife Mary Rose as they prepare their famous baked fish for their families. An entire char is cooked for seven hours while covered in tinfoil. Steven shares his secret recipe and everyone enjoys the final product.

In this episode we meet Tasha Tologanaq. A young mother and a passionate cook, she makes caribou pho and sushi – a delicious combination of Inuit foods and other cultural cuisines.

In this episode, we cook with Millie. Known for her comedic relief and amazing energy, Millie makes muskox burgers and her famous clam pasta salad.
Episode 12
We cook kiapaaq and tuktu soup with an Elder as she talks about her big family and many grandchildren. Later, her three grandchildren end up enjoying the meal with us as well.
Episode 13
We meet a family that’s passionate about hunting, tradition and music. They go muskox hunting as a family and Maryrose makes a delicious muskox shepherd's pie for the whole family.
