The featured artists are Joey Stylez featuring Lil’Pappie & Inez.Those two words—no gimmicks—perfectly encapsulate Joey Stylez, the world’s premiere Native American hip hop artist. Joining him is Lil Pappie a talented and well-rounded urban pop artist. Also featured is Inez, a Sto:lo singer songwriter with powerhouse talent and universal appeal.

Episode 3 — Indian City
The Featured Group in this episode of The Solstice Concerts is Indian City. The Indian City sound is a fusion of Indigenous themes building on contemporary pop and rock with hints of traditional layers.

This episode features iconic artist Buffy Sainte-Marie as the headliner at the First Nations University of Canada in Regina, as well as sharing poignant memories and messages expressed through her vibrant interviews.

Episode 5 — Riva & Beatrice Deer
This episode brings Timiskaming First Nation song bird Riva to the stage in Regina at the First Nations University of Canada and Inuk artist Beatrice Deer before a crowd at the Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba for APTN’s Aboriginal Day Live. Each performance brings a unique style to the stage and interviews featuring each artist.

Episode 6 — Plex & Samian
Hip Hop/Rappers PLEX and Samian use their signature styles in separate performances at APTN’s Aboriginal Day Live, and express life choices through music and interviews.

Episode 7 — Christa Couture
This episode follows Cree-Metis singer/songwriter, Christa Couture, as she prepares, rehearses and entertains on stage at the Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba, for APTN’s Aboriginal Day Live. Her performances are accompanied by intimate interviews providing a glimpse into the life of this talented young Folk artist from Vancouver, British Columbia.
