Episode 1 - Lumps, Bumps and Love
Summer has unleashed a wave of mysterious ailments in pets across the country. Dr. Dayle Poitras confronts a potentially dangerous lump in a reactive German Shepherd’s mouth, while Dr. Cori Stephen tackles an out-of-control infection in a dog named Trapper.
Episode 2 - As Good As Goldy
Dr. Poitras and her team rush into critical surgery to save the life of Ruger, a senior dog battling a badly infected organ. In Saskatoon, Dr. Allison helps a husky cross named Goldy who has a bad limp and a cat who has a bladder full of painful stones.
Episode 3 - Underneath The Surface
In Alberta, a routine neuter turns tricky for a big old tomcat, and a young dog needs a full workup to assess her injuries after getting hit by a car. In Vanderhoof, Dr. Cori is shocked when a boxer named Gemma suddenly can’t feel her feet.
Episode 4 - Puppies Forever
Dachshund siblings Link and Kirby cause some giggles with a peculiar problem. Senior dog Samson has a painful eye that requires major surgery. Dr. Poitras connects with community at the Enoch Indian Horse Relay and meets a young rider with big grit.
Episode 5 - Rosey Coloured Glasses
Dr. Poitras and her team jump into action when they find an alarming mass on a beloved golden retriever named Rosey. Dr. Cori calms an anxious dog and offers some universal advice regarding new puppies when she meets an adorable chihuahua named Diesel.
Episode 6 - The Owl and the Pussycat
A missing cat named Dr. Pepper comes back with serious injuries, and an owl found on the side of the road may have a broken wing. Dr. Poitras and her staff take precautions with a growling rottweiler named Kid who needs treatment around his face.
Episode 7 - Get to the Chopper
A firefighter support dog named Havoc creates chaos when he gets loose outside the clinic in Vanderhoof, and a lab named Lincoln has alarming blood test results. Meanwhile, it’s life or death for a young foal with a debilitating condition.
Episode 8 - Farm Cat First-Aid
A cat named Kiki is in a bad way after a fight on the farm, and a rescue puppy named Gemma shocks the clinic during ear surgery. Jerry the goat will starve unless Dr. Poitras can figure out why he’s not eating properly.
Episode 9 - Emergency Room
Rocky Rapids Clinic becomes an emergency room for a dog with troubled breathing. Dr. Allison treats Stu, a dog who can’t keep meals down. Veterinary students go through a rite of passage when Dr. Cori teaches them how to remove quills from a farm dog.
Episode 10 - Super Nova
A chihuahua named Maggie needs urgent attention when she comes in with a painful eye. Meanwhile, Dr. Allison rushes to assess the depth and severity of a wound on another dog named Tag. A farm dog needs an ultrasound to determine if she’s pregnant.
Episode 11 - See you Later, I Love you
A routine dental quickly becomes high-risk for a little Pomeranian named Bear. In Vanderhoof, a family brings in an abandoned dog who’s in bad shape, searching for help from Dr. Cori. Without owners present, questions arise about how best to care for the dog.
Episode 12 - They’re All Lovable
Dr. Poitras opens the clinic late at night for a life-and-death situation with a cat named Benji. Dr. Cori doesn’t mince words when a young lab named Bolt with a history of elbow pain comes back with a limp.
That’s My Family
A lab named Buddy undergoes an urgent surgery to remove a 10-pound tumour. Johnny, the clinic cat, develops a nasty infection after fighting with squirrels. A long-time client brings in his new puppy, who has a much different temperament than his last dog.
