Davey and Melva watch outdoor-related videos and armchair travel into the bush. Davey tries his hand at virtual snowmobiling, and the duo tests their land-based skills: filleting fish and making a bush meal of bologna sandwiches and garlic sausage.

Davey’s never left the country, so this virtual trip is his ticket! Sombreros on, Davey and Melva couch-travel to the beaches of Mexico for a sunny adventure. After a failed coconut cracking, they eat spicy food, sip mock piña coladas and even smash a piñata.

Some animals don’t have Cree names, so Melva teaches Davey creative ways to describe them. A surprise visit from a gorilla shakes things up, then Davey goes for a camel ride in the Sahara Desert, chills with his rez dog and plays Cree animal Pictionary.

Davey and Melva couch-travel to Australia and New Zealand! Davey snorkels in the Great Barrier Reef, samples wild eats and vegemite sandwiches, tries playing a didgeridoo and throwing a boomerang, then hops over to New Zealand to learn how to perform a haka.

Melva shares family stories of crafting and beading, showing off the mukluks and a buckskin vest Davey wore as a kid. Then, they get their creative juices flowing as they hand-sculpt pieces out of clay. This is just the start of a full day of crafting!

Davey and Melva shift into spooky mode! Dressed in zombie costumes, they shuffle around like the undead, watch horror classics, play games and try to detect paranormal activity — all while keeping one eye on Trevor, the zombie production assistant.

Davey and Melva suit up in karate gear to watch martial arts. Davey chops some boards and does some mixed martial arts against a virtual opponent, while he and Melva discuss the moves in Cree. After tai chi tires them out, they order dim sum to refuel.

Davey’s loved wrestling since childhood, so he and Melva watch matches, trying to find names for the moves in Cree. They call Davey’s aunt, who tells them stories about his grandmother’s love for wrestling, and then the duo steps into the wrestling ring.

Melva and Davey travel the world, all from the comfort of their couch. First, they take in the sights and tastes of Cambodia. Next, it’s over to France, where they visit the Eiffel Tower and eat frog legs. Finally, they head to Italy to make pizza!

Melva shows off her thumb wrestling skills and then refs a mini-sticks hockey game between Davey and the production assistant. Later, Davey and Melva try some traditional Inuit games, and Melva quizzes Davey on the Cree words for different sports items.

Paying tribute to geeks everywhere, Davey and Melva embrace all things nerdy. From having robot wars to painting model creatures to live action role-playing, they prove that geeks are truly awesome — and that Davey can be deadly with a sword.

It’s time to head north! First, Melva and Davey experience summer in the Arctic. Then, it’s time to gear up with some seriously warm clothes. Davey tries his hand at dogsledding and building an igloo, and then he and Melva try traditional Inuit food.

In the season finale, Davey and Melva embark on a fun-filled culinary adventure. First, they make bannock dogs and bannock with moose meat. Then, they order gourmet eats from an Indigenous restaurant and finish off their food fest with some cake.
